Literary Club:

The Literary club , one of the foremost club of the school hanker, inculcates students a flair for the language and enhances their literary skills. The writing, speaking and creative skills are thus almost completely developed by the time they reach class X.

Competition whose motive is merely to compete with each other to win a place in the top aperture. The students represent their groups to bring points to win trophy.

Essay writing, Elocution, Group discussions and Debates are conducted in English, Telugu and Hindi. After an introductory round selected students reach the finals. In the finals the students are judged by exterior judges. For each event the three judges give their marks for the students based on their content, style, accuracy and presentation . The total of three judges then decides the winner of the event. On the whole care is taken to ensure that the events are conducted in a fair and just manner, so that the atmosphere of healthy competition is retained at all times, apart from imbibing the policy of fairness and fair play in the students.

An in charge member for the club is appointed at the beginning of each academic year.  He or she is assisted by the secretary and assistant secretaries in the smooth organizing of the events.

Cultural Club:

Art and Culture boast multiple opportunities for learning, entertainment and improving communication with others. The following events are conducted and the winners are awarded in Solo singing, Classical, Western and Folk dance, Drawing and painting, Rangoli, Mimicry, Mono-action, Group dance, Group singing, Skit, Instrumental music.

Sports and Games:

Sports increases self-esteem, mental alertness and it reduces stress and anxiety. They provide the spirit of competition that drives them to give extra effort. Through sports children learn to respect authority and rules. In our institution we have a well laid out infrastructure  for games and sports with all the available place put to us. Intramural competitions provide an opportunity for the children to exhibit their talents and form a basis to pick out the talented children. All the High school children are divided into four houses: St.Joseph, St.Mary, St.Anthony and St.Ann respectively. In July we have the  Investiture  ceremony in which the school cabinet take the oath and accepts the responsibility to lead the students community through various activities. Competitons are conducted on knock-out basis in games like volleyball, kabaddi, kho-kho, baseball, throwball, tennikoit, skipping and cricket etc.The physical education department has scheduled total number of 14 games classwise and more than 50 athletic events.

OUT DOOR GAMES: Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Base Ball, Throw Ball, Cricket, Hand ball.

INDORE GAMES : Chess, Caroms, Tennikoit.

ATHLETICS :      100m, 200m, 400m, 800, 4X100m relay, Long jump, high jump, shot put, discus and javelin throw are conducted every year.

NCC :

NCC is the Indian military cadet corps wing of the Indian armed forces. NCC offers training to the students of schools and colleges. NCC not only creates soldiers for the nation but it also develops the leadership skills in the youth. Our School provides NCC for Both Boys & Girls.

MATHEMATICS CLUB

Every child is a born genius. Maths makes are life orderly and prevents chaos. It nurtures the power of reasoning, critical – thinking, problem – solving ability and even effective communication skills. A successful life emerges out from a healthy and sound mind. Talent test in Maths Olympiad, is conducted from classes 1st  to 10th. Students won Gold, Silver and Bronzes Medals and also cash prize.

OBJECTIVES:

  • Appreciates the usefulness, power and beauty of mathematics.
  • Develops patience and persistence when solving problems.
  • Analyses and solves problems both in school and in real-life situations.

SCIENCE CLUB

Science is one of the most important channels of knowledge. It has a specific role as well as verity of functions for the benefit of Society: Creating new knowledge, improving education, and increasing the quality of our lives.

OBJECTIVES:

  • It provides knowledge of the facts, principles, concepts and laws of science
  • It helps in developing skills in experimentation, observation, problem solving, drawing and manipulating apparatus, conceptual and collaborative learning skills
  • It helps in developing the ability to organize exhibitions and fairs
  • The study of biology aims to increase understanding of living systems.
  • It allows us to consider the system in relationship to the self and other organisms in the natural environment.
